Accomodation in Preddvor

The Nordic Open 2009 will be based at the Hotel Bor in Preddvor. The hotel has hosted sports events in the past, and even the European Paragliding Championships (way back in the early nineties).

The hotel has 100 beds and is offering them at a discount for Nordic Open pilots. Normal high-season price is 43EUR/person/night in double rooms but we can reserve the beds for 28EUR/person/night. We have also, thanks to our local hero Gasper Prevc, found an option for those of you who wish to camp. About 6km NW of the HQ there is a rural Gite-style place with a field where we can camp. The cost is around 5EUR/person/night, there are toilets and showers, there's a small cafe/beer place, there are some tennis courts (I'm not sure if they will be open). You can also book beds there, I don't know how much they will cost but it looks like a good budget option. The place is called "Turisticna Kmetija Markun - PRI STEFET", the address is Babni Vrt 5, Golnik, and Andrej Markun speaks good English. His telephone number is +386 31 694 913 - Don't call to reserve camping, that won't be necesarry, but if you would like to reserve a room calling is a good idea. We asked if they can provide wireless Internet, and the answer was "we believe so", which means it isn't definite but I'm guessing it will be there!
